Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Coordinator
Job Description
The R&M Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming Facilities work orders within assigned regions, ensuring timely dispatch, coordination, and resolution of repair and maintenance requests. This role partners closely with vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders to drive efficient execution, clear communication, and adherence to established processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work Order Review & QualificationReview all incoming work orders to determine dispatch eligibility based on lease responsibility, warranty coverage, business programs, and urgency.
- Vendor Dispatch & CoordinationDispatch, confirming scope of work, timelines (ETA), and follow-through to ensure timely service delivery.
- Work Order ManagementOwn and manage work orders from creation through completion for assigned categories, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and process compliance.
- Prioritization & ExecutionEffectively prioritize workload based on urgency and business impact to drive timely resolution and minimize operational disruption.
- Communication & UpdatesProvide clear, consistent updates on status, delays, and escalations to internal teams and field partners.
- Monitoring & ResolutionMonitor open work order queues, proactively follow up, and drive work orders to completion within service expectations.
- Problem SolvingIdentify issues, assess impact, and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years in coordination, operations, or facilities-related role
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and commonly used software (e.g., Microsoft Office, work order systems)
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
