    Job Summary:

    The Facilities Assistant will work with the Facilities and Operations teams on a day-to-day basis to assist in maintenance services. The successful candidate will be a collaborator and self-starter with a strong ability to follow through on daily assigned tasks. In addition, they must be reliable, communicative and maintain a professional demeanor. The candidate will need to be able to interact with a variety of different personalities and be responsive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

    • Receive and respond to incoming Facilities-related helpdesk tickets, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, campus maintenance, etc.
    • Help manage cleaning and janitorial crews for each office location and ensure nightly cleaning is complete to the highest standards
    • Assist facilities manager in keeping track of cleaning supplies for all locations
    • Manage sanitation vendor and scheduling of garbage removal
    • Assist the Operations team with any employee moves, events, and truck loading
    • Proven ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner
    • Facilities Tool Upkeep/ tool maintenance and inventory
    • Manage facilities basement area keep it clean and organized
    • Assist facilities manager in inspections and responding to all safety concerns

    Job Skills & Qualifications:

    • 1 to 2 years of facilities related experience
    • 1 years of customer service related experience
    • Previous experience with HVAC controls/maintenance
    • Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines
    • Ability to travel between all Chrysalis locations.
    • Reliable transportation to travel to all Chrysalis locations.
    • Comfortable working with a computer.
    • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
    • Experience in carpentry, power tools, and electrical a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and safely. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for extended periods, including full work shifts. Capable of manual handling of equipment, containers, or refuse, including loading/unloading tasks and operating mechanical lifting devices (Code 9403).Must be able to work indoors or outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, humidity, and exposure to dust or fumes. Requires frequent climbing, squatting, and twisting motions, and may involve working at heights or on uneven surfaces (Code 9009). Ability to operate vehicles or machinery as needed, with appropriate safety protocols. Must be able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, including grasping, fine manipulation, and reaching above shoulder level. Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to safely perform job duties, including use of protective equipment when required.
