The Facilities Management Director oversees custodial, maintenance, and facility operations district-wide, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient use of resources within budget.
- Supervises custodial, maintenance staff, and administrative personnel.
- Develops schedules, inspects work quality, and manages inventory and supplies.
- Coordinates repairs, renovations, and construction with city departments, ensuring compliance with laws and codes.
- Prepares cost estimates, manages bids, and oversees procurement processes.
- Collaborates with principals and staff on maintenance needs, and plans emergency and routine procedures.
- Leads training, recruitment, and performance evaluations for department staff.
- Completes reports, attends meetings, and performs other assigned duties.
Qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree, five years of experience including supervisory roles, technical knowledge of building systems, and strong leadership skills. Physical ability to perform tasks and flexibility in work hours are required. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 with full benefits, a 260-day work year, and full-time hours.
