Job RequirementsAbility to safely operate or learn to operate metal fabrication equipment, including punch presses, shears, rolls, power brakes, and saws. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and manufacturing equipment. Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements. Ability to perform routine and repetitive manufacturing tasks with attention to quality and accuracy. Ability to use basic measuring tools and perform simple shop math calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to make simple decisions by following established procedures and guidelines. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining productivity standards. Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling sheet metal materials and fabricated parts as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the work shift. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.Job SummaryOperate metal fabrication equipment including punch presses, shears, rolls, power brakes, and saws to manufacture sheet metal parts and components. Cut, bend, straighten, and form sheet metal stock according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions. Set up and use shop aids such as stops, guides, feeding aids, and blocks to improve machine operation and production efficiency. Perform routine fabrication tasks while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance with established specifications and quality requirements. Handle materials and components safely while maintaining an organized work area. Follow detailed procedures, work instructions, and established manufacturing processes. Utilize basic hand tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment to complete assigned tasks. Support continuous production operations by meeting daily production schedules and goals. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and product quality. Adhere to all company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
