We are seeking Fabrication Specialists with electrical and mechanical skills to support hands-on assembly, wiring, and fabrication activities in New Orleans. These roles involve working with a variety of tools and materials to assemble, modify, and install wire harnesses, avionics products, and mechanical components. Full training will be provided (3–4 weeks depending on experience level).
Perform machine set-up, machining, wiring, and electrical checks.
Assemble, repair, modify, and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
Support basic mechanical and electrical preparation tasks, including drilling, fastening, and adhesive application.
Prepare test articles, fixtures, and devices for data collection.
Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements and schedules.
Electrical Specialists (3 openings): Wire stripping, re-pinning, torque wrench use, power screwdriver operation, hardware installation, shielded wire handling.
Mechanical Specialist (1 opening): Drilling, bracket installation, mechanical assembly.
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of related mechanical or electrical experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical processes; willingness to learn.
Experience with hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, adhesives, etc.).
Flexible, adaptable, and eager to work in a team environment.
Eye exam required for electrical positions.
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Ability to qualify for fall protection harness (weight limit 350 lbs).
Safety glasses required; mask may be required depending on work area.
Crane certification may be provided after start if required.
Work Schedule: First shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM). Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Safety Sensitive: NASA compliance required (clearance process completed post-start).
Travel: No required travel. Occasional voluntary travel may be available.
