Fabrication Metrology & Quality Control Technician

Do you instinctively spot a bad bead or a borderline dimension? Do calipers, micrometers, and blueprints feel like second nature? Join us and turn those instincts into customer-trusted results.

Your impact

  • Guard product quality at every stage—approve in-process work by confirming specs through visual and measurement checks, and relay needed adjustments to the department manager without delay.
  • Own final acceptance—confirm finished parts meet requirements, route for rework when they don’t, and verify corrections before release.
  • Make quality visible—complete reports and logs, summarize rework and waste, and input data in Epicor.
  • Use measurement equipment properly and keep it operating according to instructions.
  • Translate drawings into action—read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and instructions.
  • Keep thorough records of tests, findings, and metrics.
  • Determine disposition during periodic inspections and apply tags per procedure.
  • Provide timely reports to the Quality Manager.

Standards we live by

  • Attendance: Be on time, follow schedules, come prepared to start, remain on the job to complete duties, and minimize unscheduled leave.
  • Quality: Our mindset is “do it right the first time.”
  • Safety: Wear required PPE and follow all safety rules, procedures, and policies.
  • Accountability: Own your output—both quantity and quality—and pursue excellence.
  • Follow all procedures, work instructions, and operational processes. Duties may evolve with or without notice.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Comfort working in Epicor or similar quality/ERP databases.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
