Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor fabrication team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and assign daily fabrication tasks to meet production deadlines and customer specifications.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment, including welders, grinders, and cutting tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to guide fabrication processes and material selection.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize fabrication efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Conduct quality control inspections on fabricated components to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and tools required for fabrication operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex fabrication issues, collaborating with engineering and production teams as needed.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK) and metal forming processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of skilled fabricators.
• Experience with quality control procedures and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
