Job Title: Fabrication- CNC Operator

Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fabrication and CNC equipment to produce quality product in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Daily operations of Fabrication and CNC equipment
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- Identify and report safety concerns to the Fabrication/CNC Team Leader
- Identify and report maintenance needs to Fabrication/CNC Team Leader
- Assist with preventive maintenance on Fabrication and CNC equipment
- Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly
- Interpretation of work orders and drawings
- Complete and submit daily production reports
- Maintain a good attendance record
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Self-driven with a strong ability to work alone or with others
- Good communication in a team environment as well as critical thinking skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be goal oriented in order to achieve daily production targets.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma preferred
- 6 months of experience in CNC or other metal fabrication operations
Language/Communication Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Computer Skills: Ability to operate computer and/or electronic based machine controls.
