Description:

You will be the F‑16 Build Team Associate Manager - Level 4 for the Heavy‑Structures Production team which is responsible for delivering structural components on the F‑16 production line.

What You Will Be Doing

As the F‑16 Build Team Associate Manager - Level 4 you will be responsible for overseeing the Heavy‑Structures work‑break‑down‑structure, ensuring schedule, quality, cost, and safety targets are met while developing the next tier of supervisors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Heavy‑Structures crew in producing fuselage frames, bulkheads, and associated hardware to schedule and quality standards.
  • Mentor high‑potential technicians and lead‑hands, building their supervisory skills and creating a strong succession pipeline.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and safety performance metrics, driving continuous improvement in production processes.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and align on program objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the work‑break‑down‑structure.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience leading a team in aviation disciplines, Aviation Production relating to Military Aviation or Manufacturing, Structures Manufacturing, Maintenance, Modification, Repair Overhaul (MMRO) Operations.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.

Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.

Desired Skills:

  • F-16 structural repair/modification experience highly desirable.
  • Good communication and writing skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
