Extrusion Technician-1st & 3rd Shift
Educational requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of extrusion experience
Reports to: Manufacturing Operations Manager
Primary responsibility:
Maximize extrusion productivity on up to 3 extrusion lines.
Essential functions of position (not limited to tasks listed):
- Troubleshoot and make appropriate adjustments to all affected equipment to produce parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Supervisor on cell work assignments to minimize downtime on extruders and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Work with the Extrusion Engineer and/or the Chief Technical Officer in developing new product processing conditions.
- Work with Quality Control in developing appropriate measuring methods for new products.
