Job Description

The Express Technician lubricates moving parts of automobiles in accordance with dealership and factory quality standards and procedures to obtain the highest in customer satisfaction. 

  1.  Inject grease into units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles using hand or compressed air powered grease gun.
  2. Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
  3. Rotate and check air pressure of tires.
  4. Maintain a multipoint inspection & tech video completion of 95% + monthly.
  5. Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
  6. Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
  7. Spray leaf springs with lubricant, using spray gun.
  8. Add water to radiator and battery.
  9. Replace oil and air filters.
  10. Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or the equivalent

Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

Two years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership. 

Valid in-state Driver's license and a good driving record.

Manual Dexterity

Good judgment

Benefits

Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:
