Job Description:
This position is for local residents only.
  • Oversees end-to-end coordination of all air & ocean domestic, export, transborder and foreign-to-foreign shipments
  • Processes shipments from A to Z including consolidations to various destinations to maximize profitability
  • Assigns and delegates tasks to team member based on workload and priority
  • Mentors direct report to prepare them for increased responsibility
  • Prepares all export documentation to ensure a smooth and compliant export process
  • Ensures all export transactions fully comply with US export regulations, FMC and TSA Known Shipper guidelines
  • Oversees precise and timely EEI filings through the AES
  • Works closely to maintain key relationship with clients, vendors and other cross functional departments
  • Provides air & ocean domestic, export and transborder quotations to existing and potential clients
  • Negotiates sport rates and secures bookings with the carriers
  • Provides pre-alerts, notifications and timely updates to clients and overseas counterparts
  • Processes CASS billings checks invoices received for accuracy, match with internal records and reconcile discrepancies
  • Ensures billing accuracy and timely invoicing of all shipments
  • Acts as TSA primary security coordinator and enforces security measures as per TSA regulations
  • Supports TSA audits and maintains export records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for vetting truckers for TSA-compliance and ensuring all records are up-to-date in IACMS
  • Handles project cargo and foreign-to-foreign shipments
  • Identifies process improvements and implements efficiency measures to enhance overall productivity and profitability of the department
  • Maintain valid certification in IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • Proactively monitor shipments in transit, resolve routing delays and act as primary liaison between internal teams and overseas agents

    Job Requirements:
    • TSA and DG Certified Required.
    • Cargowise experience preferred.
