General Information:
The Export Control Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the university's export control, research security, and Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) programs. Situated within the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance (ORIC), this position plays a central role in supporting a growing research enterprise at a Primarily Undergraduate Institution (PUI) transitioning from R2 to R1 status.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Research Security and International Compliance, this role integrates export control compliance, research security requirements, and research integrity expectations into a cohesive and scalable framework. The position ensures institutional readiness for evolving federal mandates while fostering a culture of ethical, secure, and globally engaged research.
This role blends regulatory compliance, strategic program development, and faculty engagement, requiring both technical expertise and strong relationship-building skills in a predominantly undergraduate-focused environment with expanding research activity.
