Export Agent

Our client, a freight forwarding logistics company located near JFK Airport is seeking 2 Export Agents to join their growing team.  The ideal candidate should have experience working with CargoWise along with having Air Export experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end air export process.
• Book space with airlines and coordinate with freight forwarders.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and export permits.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and policies.
• Liaise with customs officials to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
• Coordinate with clients to update them on shipment status and resolve any issues.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain records of all shipping activities and documentation.

Requirements:

• CargoWise experience is a key requirement
• Freight forwarder company background
• Air export experience preferred over ocean / majority of the work is Air and will be trained on ocean if needed
• Able to handle shipments end-to-end with minimal oversight
• Reliable, accountable, strong work ethic (not clock-in/clock-out mindset)

Salary dependent upon experience.
