Creature Comforts Animal Emergency Clinic is a new addition to the Creature Comforts Veterinary Resorts and Suites in Inman, SC. CCVRS has united some of the finest talent in the Upstate area for Veterinary Care, and we are excited to extend our reach to include Emergency Services! Our new hospital teams aims to be a trusted partner in the lives of pets while offering the highest in quality of innovative medicine for pets experiencing urgent medical situations.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

We're looking for:
A veterinary technician with a minimum of 2+ year experience required.
A licensed veterinary technician is highly preferred, however, it is not required.
ER experience is highly preferred, however it is not required for more experienced applicants.
Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts.
Availability to work weekends.
Excellent client communication and medical record management skills.
Knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations.
Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques.
Proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens
Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture.
Compassionate and calm team-player.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong communication skills.
Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-related hazards.
Pay Range: Starting between $27 - $32/hr, negotiable depending on experience level and license status.
