Highland Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join one of Dallas’s most established and prestigious veterinary practices. With over 57 years of service in the Dallas community, we now operate in a state-of-the-art, three-story luxury hospital offering advanced medical care and exceptional client service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about high-quality medicine, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a progressive, full-service hospital.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Provide high-quality patient care for dogs and cats 
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Perform IV catheter placement and blood collectio
  • Monitor and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures
  • Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
  • Educate clients on vaccines, preventative care, and treatment plans
  • Support advanced services including radiology, ultrasonography, and lab diagnostics 
  • Maintain accurate medical records

Skills Knowledge and Expertise


  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT preferred) 
  •  Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and anesthesia monitoring
  •  Strong knowledge of vaccines and preventative care protocols
  •  Excellent communication and client education skills 
  •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  •  Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
