Key Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient front desk experience:
Greet clients and pets warmly and professionally upon arrival
Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and handle client communications
Perform check-in and check-out procedures, process invoices, and take payments
Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in practice software
Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to support smooth patient flow
Provide client education on hospital services, wellness plans, and general pet care
Resolve client concerns with empathy and professionalism
Support rotating weekend shifts (we are closed on all major/federal holidays and offer holiday pay)
What We’re Looking For – Experience & Qualifications
We’re seeking a candidate who is passionate about animals, thrives in a people-facing role, and has experience in a veterinary or healthcare front desk setting.
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a veterinary front desk/customer service role
Experience in a veterinary practice or medical office is required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency with veterinary practice software (Cornerstone, Avimark, etc.) is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Must have schedule flexibility, including weekends on rotation
