Freeland Auto is looking for a highly skilled Experienced Used Vehicle Manager who understands how to source inventory, structure profitable deals, manage inventory turn, and drive retail sales performance.
This position is ideal for someone with strong used vehicle operations experience who may currently be working at an independent dealership, used vehicle superstore, or franchise dealership and is looking for the opportunity to take the next step in their career.
We are not necessarily looking for someone with extensive new vehicle management experience. We are looking for someone who knows how to acquire inventory, appraise vehicles, desk deals, maximize profitability, and build a successful used vehicle operation.

Appraising and acquiring used vehicle inventory
Managing inventory levels, aging, and turn rates
Sourcing vehicles through auctions, trades, street purchases, and wholesale channels
Structuring and desking retail deals
Working closely with sales consultants and F&I to maximize profitability
Managing vehicle pricing and market competitiveness
Monitoring inventory performance and adjusting strategies accordingly
Identifying opportunities to increase volume, gross profit, and inventory efficiency
Assisting in developing acquisition strategies to support dealership growth
Ensuring vehicles are properly reconditioned, merchandised, and positioned for retail sale
Strong desking and deal structure experience
Proven used vehicle inventory management experience
Vehicle appraisal and acquisition expertise
Understanding of inventory turn, aging, and profitability metrics
Experience purchasing vehicles through multiple acquisition channels
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Self-motivated and accountable
