Experienced Structural Engineer (8342)

Our client, a well-established engineering firm, is seeking an Experienced Structural Engineer passionate about engineering and eager to broaden their expertise across diverse projects and building types. This role will work on projects of varying sizes, analyzing and designing concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures, while managing projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with clients, stakeholders, and Principal Engineers throughout the design and construction process. This full-time position is located in Portland, OR.ResponsibilitiesWork on projects varying in size from small to large multidisciplinary.Analyze and design a range of project types including concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures in diverse market sectors.Coordinate and oversee the efforts of others as you mentor less experienced engineers.See the whole scope of a project and work on it from start to finish.Work directly with a Principal Engineer, overseeing day-to-day activities throughout the design and construction process.Communicate directly with clients, city/public officials, and other stakeholders involved in your projects.RequirementsA Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is requiredMaster's Degree preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license is requiredSE license preferred6 to 12 years of experience requiredExperience with structural design of commercial and industrial buildingsProficiency with RISA, RAM, ENERCALC, and similar analysis toolsFamiliarity with AutoCAD and/or RevitAbility to prioritize and successfully complete multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to be self-directedDesire to work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and fun team environmentWork sponsorship is not available at this time.
