Gullo Mazda of Conroe is seeking a results-driven, experienced Service Advisor who understands how to manage a high-performing service drive while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already knows how to control a repair order, communicate effectively with technicians and clients, and consistently deliver strong performance in both customer satisfaction and sales.
Schedule Requirement:
This position requires availability to work Saturdays as part of the regular schedule.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department
- Greet every client promptly and professionally—no differentiation between customer pay and warranty
- Accurately collect and verify customer information on every repair order:
- Full Name
- Address
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Write clear, thorough, and accurate customer concerns on every repair order (no shortcuts, no assumptions)
- Ensure all repair orders are complete, legible, and properly authorized before work begins
- Present maintenance recommendations and needed repairs with professionalism and integrity
- Provide accurate estimates and clearly explain diagnostic and repair processes
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the day regarding status updates
- Document all approvals, declines, and communications on the repair order
- Work closely with technicians to ensure proper dispatching and workflow
- Monitor each repair order from write-up through delivery to minimize delays and rechecks
- Review completed work with customers and ensure full understanding at delivery
Performance Expectations (Non-Negotiable)
- Consistently maintain:
- Strong CSI performance in line with manufacturer standards
- Accurate and complete repair order documentation
- Effective communication with both customers and internal team
- Execute the fundamentals every single time:
- Complete and accurate customer data
- Properly written customer complaints
- Clean, compliant repair orders
- Timely follow-up and updates
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build trust with customers and close recommended services
- Familiarity with dealership systems and processes preferred
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
