9 PA is a fast-paced, 16-bed acute care unit caring for children ages 12-21 with a wide range of medical conditions requiring short- to moderate-length hospital stays. The culture on 9PA emphasizes adaptability, collaboration, and continual learning to ensure safe, evidence-based, and family-centered care. Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston-Salem, NC, is a key part of our nationally recognized academic health system. Our 885-bed tertiary care hospital houses the region's only children's hospital, burn center, and Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers.
