We are searching for a reliable property maintenance technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of multiple apartment buildings and townhomes in Mentor and surrounding areas.


We are looking for an individual with the following skills:


  • Provide technical repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance services relating to electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting.
  • Appliance repair and installation, maintenance of window screens and blinds, interior and exterior doors, etc.
  • HVAC and boiler experience preferred but not required.
  • Make ready apartments, rehab apartments, and handle work orders in a timely manner.
  • Assist property manager with apartment inspections
  • Work closely and communicate with property manager, residents, and visitors with respect and a positive attitude
  • Have good follow-through skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer and tablet skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adapt to sudden schedule changes such as maintenance emergencies.
Requirements:


  • You must have valid driver’s license, your own vehicle, and be able to drive a truck with a trailer.
  • This position requires availability for an on-call rotation schedule and occasional overtime.
  • Ability to comfortably lift 40 pounds and climb ladders.
Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:


  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
