To thrive as an Experienced Caregiver/PCA at Guardian Angel Senior Services, you’ll need a unique combination of skills and experience. Prior experience as a caregiver, PCA, HHA, or CNA is essential, ensuring you’re well-equipped to provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene. Your ability to assist with mobility transfers and prepare nutritious meals will make a significant impact on clients' daily lives.
Light housekeeping and running errands will also be part of your role, as well as offering medication reminders and monitoring client condition changes. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with effective time management and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary to get you to your clients.
A compassionate and professional demeanor is crucial, and experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is preferred. Your skills will not just fulfill tasks; they will uplift and empower those you serve!
