Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

Experimental Service Group (ESG) supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains and is a fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies that includes the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV). The X-37B OTV is the United States' most advanced, state-of-the-art reentry space craft.

BDS is one of the world's largest defense, space and security businesses specializing in innovative and capabilities-driven customer solutions, and the world's largest and most versatile producer of military aircraft and commercial/civil/government space systems.

Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3:

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
  • Works under general direction

Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4:

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift however, candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

NASA Access:

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • More than 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • More than 1 year of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Senior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to look forward strategically and develop detailed solutions and specifications
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range Experienced Level 3: $90,950 - $123,050

Summary pay range Senior Level 4: $111,350 - $150,650
