We are seeking an experienced, professional, and patient-focused Medical Front Desk Team Member to join our growing specialty practice. This role is essential to creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients while supporting a high-performing clinical team.
 


The ideal candidate brings a strong background in medical scheduling, patient intake, and customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
 


Key Responsibilities
 


  •  Greet and check in patients with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency 
  •  Manage complex scheduling for multiple providers, including new and follow-up appointments 
  •  Coordinate new patient onboarding, including registration, insurance verification, consent forms, and EMR entry (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus)
  •  Answer multi-line phones, triage calls, and route messages appropriately 
  •  Maintain smooth patient flow by collaborating closely with clinical staff 
  •  Collect co-pays, verify insurance eligibility, and process payments accurately 
  •  Ensure accuracy of patient records and maintain strict HIPAA compliance 
  •  Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations 
Qualifications
 


  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical front desk or similar role required 
  •  Proficiency with scheduling and patient registration systems (experience with eClinicalWorks strongly preferred) 
  •  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members 
  •  Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorization processes preferred 
  •  Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times

This is a full-time position with patient-facing hours of:


  •  Monday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 
  •  Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM 
  •  Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
Our clinical support team begins opening procedures 30 minutes prior to the first patient arrival each day. These hours are supported by a collaborative five-person team with varying shift start and end times to ensure appropriate coverage throughout the day.


All candidates must be available to work any scheduled shift within the practice hours in order to be considered for employment.
