Santek Management is looking for an experienced maintenance professional to support the growth of our company by performing focused maintenance tasks. This person will be self-motivated with a can-do attitude, reliable, strong customer service skills, good communication and will take initiative!
The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. The Maintenance Technician responds to our residents' service needs and is instrumental in helping Santek Management deliver superior customer service to our residents.
This part-time or full-time position requires a commitment of 15 to 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Must be available to work rotating weekends as well as on call duties for emergency situations for the full-time position. The primary work location is in Dunedin, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technician is responsible for general as well as preventative maintenance repairs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prepares Market Ready apartments which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary tasks to provide our residents with a quality move-in experience.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely manner with a professional attitude.
• Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills and painting.
• Maintains grounds, pool, and common areas.
• Reports any maintenance concerns on any of the units and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Knowledgeable of State, Local, and Federal Fair Housing laws.
• Attends and participates in training programs as required by Santek Management
• Performs duties as assigned, in a timely manner.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Attire per Santek Management appearance standards.
• Maintains and safeguards all company tools and equipment
• Achieves high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITY:
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
• Must maintain a safe work environment by practicing good work habits, housekeeping procedures, and adhering to safety guidelines
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge base and experience
• Ability to communicate with management and co-workers by being a team player
• Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with the ability to analyze problems and determine the best solution
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to do physical labor including lifting 50 lbs. and other strenuous physical tasks
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year in an upscale customer service/concierge setting preferred
• HVAC Certification preferred
• Existing knowledge of neighborhood and community preferred
• Valid Driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation
Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
