Experienced Lead Handyman (General Maintenance & Repairs)

About the Role

We are a property preservation and maintainance company seeking a reliable, highly skilled, and professional Lead Handyman for a 1099 contract position. This role is perfect for an independent professional who has their own setup and is looking for a consistent stream of work orders without the hassle of sourcing materials or managing clients.

Required Skills & Scope of Work

The successful candidate must be proficient in:

• Plumbing: Leak diagnosis, clearing clogs, repairing/replacing faucets, toilets, and disposals.
• Electrical: Replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, and basic troubleshooting.
• HVAC (Minor): Condensate drain line clearing, vent cleaning, and filter replacements.
• Carpentry & Drywall: Patching, matching textures, door repairs, and minor fencing/deck work.
• Appliances: Basic troubleshooting and repairs for standard household appliances.

Documentation & Photo Requirements

Detailed documentation is a strict requirement for payment processing. You must be able to provide:

• For Repair Jobs: Clear Before, During, and After photos of the work area.
• For Inspections: Clear Before photos only, documenting the current state of the property/issue.

Requirements

• Experience: Atleast 5+ years of professional experience in residential maintenance.
• Classification: This is a 1099 contractor position; you are responsible for your own taxes and insurance.
• Tools: Must own a full suite of professional-grade power and hand tools.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable truck or van capable of reaching various sites.
