Dependable Health of Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Home Health Intake Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands the home health intake process and can confidently manage referrals, insurance verification, physician communication, and patient admissions.

Responsibilities
- Receive and process new home health referrals
- Review referral documentation for completeness
- Verify Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and authorization requirements
- Coordinate with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and referral sources
- Obtain physician orders and required documentation
- Schedule start-of-care visits with clinical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR
- Ensure all intake documentation meets Medicare and regulatory requirements
- Communicate professionally with patients and families throughout the admission process
- Work closely with clinical and office teams to ensure timely admissions
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 6mo of Home Health or Hospice Intake experience
- Knowledge of Medicare home health guidelines
- Experience with insurance verification and authorizations
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Experience working in an electronic medical record (EMR)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with WellSky/Kinnser
