Forklift Operator

Location: Carteret, NJ

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support high-volume warehouse and distribution operations. This role involves operating powered industrial equipment to move, load, and store materials while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts to move product throughout the facility
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Pick, stage, and put away inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
• Transport materials to appropriate storage or shipping locations
• Perform inventory checks and verify product quantities and locations
• Inspect equipment daily and report any issues or maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and site procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet productivity and accuracy goals

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (reach truck and high-reach preferred)
• Experience in a distribution or 3PL warehouse environment is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
• Experience with RF scanners or WMS systems preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time positions available
• Shifts may vary (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on operations)
• Overtime may be required as needed
