We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our expert team, specializing in the maintenance, repair, and installation of cutting-edge coffee and espresso equipment. Previous experience in the coffee industry is required, but what really matters is your drive and curiosity. We want someone who’s passionate about problem-solving and eager to take on new challenges. Our team of service technicians are factory-certified pros with an average of over a decade in the field, you'll be in good company.
Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Travel the region to install, repair, and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and other specialty coffee equipment
Utilize a company issued iPad to track time and materials in the FieldAware app, our field service management software
Keep customers in the loop with timely updates on repair status and estimated timeframes
Maintain your company-provided service vehicle in a neat, organized, and well-stocked condition
Contribute to a tidy and efficient shop environment
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for after-hours service
Assist other service technicians with installations and parts delivery
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
Previous experience in the coffee industry
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
Proven customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of multimeter use
Vo-Tech school degree; or one to two years related experience with electrical and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Drive, Calendar)
