Curantis Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable professional caregiver to provide live-in weekend care for a client in the East York, PA area. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide attentive, high-quality care in a supportive home environment alongside a respectful and engaged family.
Schedule
Live-In Weekend Shift
Saturday at 12:00 AM – Monday at 8:00 AM (every weekend)
Caregiver must remain on-site for the full duration of the shift
Position Overview
This is a live-in caregiving position requiring continuous presence throughout the weekend. The caregiver will provide hands-on support, comfort, and supervision while ensuring the client’s safety and dignity at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Deliver bed-bound care, including positioning, hygiene, and comfort
Assist with incontinence/perineal care (required)
Monitor for safety, skin integrity, and overall well-being
Maintain a clean and supportive care environment
Communicate updates or concerns with the care team/family
Provide consistent, compassionate companionship and reassurance
Client & Environment
Client is bed-bound at this time
Requires caregiver experienced with perineal care
Home is a non-smoking environment; caregivers must refrain from smoking during shifts and on the premises
Family is humble, respectful, and supportive of care staff
Qualifications
Professional caregiving experience required
Perineal care experience required
Experience with high-acuity or bed-bound clients strongly preferred
Ability to provide patient, calm, and compassionate care
Reliable, attentive, and professional
Strong communication skills
Compensation
Pay is commensurate with experience
