Job Summary
 We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized & experienced Bookkeeper to oversee our financial recordkeeping while also supporting day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both doing the work and leading a small team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping operations across multiple accounts/entities
  • Perform hands-on bookkeeping tasks, including transaction entry, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Review and ensure accuracy of work completed by bookkeepers
  • Train, support, and manage a team of bookkeepers (including VAs, if applicable)
  • Develop and maintain clear processes and documentation for financial workflows
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Coordinate with leadership on financial reporting, budgets, and insights
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and organization

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3+ years preferred)
  • Experience managing or supervising others strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping QuickBooks online
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience preferred with real estate and family entertainment domains, but not required
