Job: Apprentice Electrician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in various electrical tasks and projects. Duties

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
  • Support experienced electricians in high voltage installations and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of electrical systems and practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years electrical experiencerequired.
  • A strong interest in pursuing a career as an electrician with a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic construction site practices is preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
  • Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including high voltage systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
  • Commitment to safety standards and practices on all job sites.
