Are you ready to roll into an exciting new career? Holiday Lanes Bowling Center is on the hunt for a skilled and enthusiastic Mechanic to keep our bowling lanes and equipment in tip-top shape. We operate 38 lanes using Brunswick SYNC and GS-X series pinsetters. Please check out this youtube video for more information on our machines. Knowledge of the machines are not required but definitely useful!

 What You'll Do:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on bowling pinsetter and pinspotter machines.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment failures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, motors, relays, switches, sensors, transformers, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair lane equipment, ball returns, lane conditioning machines, and scoring systems.
  • Test electrical components using multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Replace worn or defective parts including belts, bearings, gears, motors, solenoids, and electrical components.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and facility operating standards.
  • Assist with facility maintenance projects as needed, including lighting, electrical repairs, and minor building maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns during operating hours.
  • Maintain inventory of repair parts, tools, and supplies.
What's Required

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience working with bowling pinsetter equipment (AMF, Brunswick, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair AC and DC electrical circuits.
  • Understanding of motors, motor controls, relays, contactors, transformers, and control panels.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including gears, chains, bearings, belts, and pneumatic components.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and scoring system diagnostics.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
 Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment safely.
  • Ability to distinguish colors for electrical wiring identification.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

  • Technical school, vocational training, or certification in electrical, industrial maintenance, electronics, or a related field.
  • Experience with low-voltage electrical systems and electronic controls.
  • Experience maintaining automated machinery in a commercial or industrial environment.
