Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer\n \nOverview: \n \nThe Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA) is requesting a contractor to provide administrative support. These services are being sought for the purpose of Administration and Program Support for the agency. \n \nThis position is contingent upon contract award.\n \nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\n Manage the day-to-day administrative affairs of the client. \n Draft and edit of correspondence and official issuances for internal and external distribution.\n Maintain a style guide that aligns with the NSF brand.\n Draft, review, and edit agency wide policies, memos, and other documents.\n Develop and document standard operating procedures.\n Maintain and organize document libraries.\n Accurately enter information into databases/tracking systems. \n Exercise basic to intermediate formatting skills for a variety of reports, presentations, and spreadsheets. \n Draft email responses and general correspondence on behalf of the client. \n \nSupervisory Responsibilities: \n\n No supervisory duties \n \nEducation and/or Experience:\n\n Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, data analytics, or a related field (preferred).\u202f \n Familiarity with federal communication requirements, including the "Plain Writing Act of 2010" and Section 508 compliance.\u202f \n Minimum 5 years of professional writing and editing experience, including at least 3 years' experience drafting a variety of office documents including but not limited to official memos, internal and external correspondence and policies. \n Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative coordination, project management, or a combination thereof and able to work at a fast pace with tight deadlines. \n Minimum of 5 years of experience entering information into databases/tracking systems and creating and formatting reports and presentations.\n Develop written documents and correspondence that demonstrate a mastery of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.\u202f \n Consistently communicate with a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy and tact.\u202f \n \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\n Develop written documents and correspondence that demonstrate a mastery of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.\u202f \n Consistently communicate with a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy and tact.\u202f \n \nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: \n\n N/A\n \nSecurity Clearance: \n\n* Must be able to pass Public Trust background investigation. \n \nPhysical Demands:\n \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
