Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Executive Project Manager for an innovative and growing organization supporting strategic business initiatives. This is a contract, part-time, onsite opportunity located in Portland, Oregon.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This highly visible role partners closely with executive leadership to lead critical merger and acquisition (M&A) integration initiatives. The Executive Project Manager will oversee post-acquisition integration projects, with a strong focus on backend operational and IT workstreams, ensuring seamless execution across cross-functional teams. This individual will drive project planning, facilitate stakeholder communication, manage risks, and hold teams accountable to project milestones while working closely with senior leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has successfully led enterprise integration projects from planning through execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead post-merger integration projects, coordinating backend operational and IT workstreams across the organization.

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Partner with executive leadership to provide project updates, facilitate decision-making, and maintain alignment on strategic priorities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, drive accountability, and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule.

  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, remove roadblocks, and proactively manage project risks.

  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide visibility into project status, milestones, and key performance indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience leading merger and acquisition (M&A) integration projects, including post-acquisition operational and IT integrations.

  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects while partnering with executive leadership and diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive accountability.

  • Experience successfully leading enterprise-wide integration initiatives from planning through implementation.

  • PMP certification strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This contract opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $50-$55 per hour. The position is scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.
