Job Overview
The Executive Director launches and oversees
residential services under the Kentucky 1915(i) iRISE Initiative. This role is
responsible for the operational excellence, staff leadership, and strict
regulatory compliance of Supervised Residential Care and In-Home
Independent Living Supports for adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
Core Responsibilities
1. Program Management amp; Clinical Oversight
- Daily
Operations: Oversee iRISE Supervised Residential settings and in-home
support structures to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Person-Centered
Care: Align all residential supports with each participant's
Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP) to foster independence and housing
stability.
- Crisis
Intervention: Lead the team in proactive, trauma-informed situational
de-escalation and crisis management protocols.
2. Regulatory Compliance amp; Quality Assurance
- Medicaid
Alignment: Maintain strict adherence to Kentucky Administrative
Regulations (907 KAR 16:015), HIPAA, and Department for Medicaid
Services (DMS) guidelines.
- Audit
Readiness: Conduct routine quality assurance reviews of electronic
health records (EHR), Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) data, and
service notes.
- Incident
Reporting: Ensure timely submission and mitigation of all critical
incidents to the state within compliance windows.
3. Team Leadership amp; Collaboration
- Staff
Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise Program Managers, Direct
Support Professionals (DSPs), and administrative staff.
- Stakeholder
Relations: Partner with external certified iRISE Case Managers,
behavioral health therapists, and the Cabinet for Health and Family
Services (CHFS).
Job Requirements amp; Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (Social Work, Psychology,
Counseling, or closely related discipline).
- Experience:
- Minimum
of two (2) years of documented experience working directly with
individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or behavioral health needs.
- Minimum
of two (2) years of direct supervisory or healthcare management
experience.
