Order#: NY1664407 Executive Director Job Summary A non-profit senior living organization is looking for an enthusiastic executive director to oversee and manage a hometown senior living facility located in Yates County, New York, at the heart of the Finger Lakes region. St. Marks Terrace provides welcoming, comfortable, affordable, and secure apartments for senior citizens 62 years of age or older in two locations. Our Penn Yan facility houses 101 apartments, and the Dundee facility houses 39 apartments. Job Highlights Qualifications At least three years of progressive management experience A bachelors degree preferred Experience with HUD policy and reporting requirements preferred Must have a valid drivers license and access to a private vehicle for business use Responsibilities Responsible for the daily operations, human resource relations, meeting the needs of residents, financial performance, and regulatory compliance including HUD Creates and executes St. Marks Terrace philosophy, and empowers employees to excel and be team-oriented in achieving exceptional standards Demonstrates a high degree of financial acumen as it relates to operations; works to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and proactively creates plans to overcome unanticipated expenses or revenue shortfalls Coordinates maintenance standards of the facilities with the Maintenance Director, according to policy and state requirements Ensures human resources are maintained with appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of residents and in accordance with applicable legal requirements by recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising staff in all departments Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and all rules regarding the operation of the facilities, and enforcing current policies and procedures. Drives sales and marketing efforts to meet or exceed occupancy or revenue targets by developing new business, generating leads, and building strategic relationships Represent St. Marks Terrace to governmental agencies (as appropriate), professional organizations, community groups, and other appropriate agencies and groups Maintains applicable licenses, and reporting in accordance with HUD, and other federal, state, and local agency requirements Requires occasional travel Communicates with and participates in scheduled meetings with the Board of Directors
