We are currently seeking an Executive Director for our Park Vista North Hill senior living community in East Moline, IL. This community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services on one campus. Position Overview:

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction of the community. This role provides strategic direction while overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional resident care and service, employee engagement, occupancy growth, and fiscal responsibility. Because this community includes Assisted Living and Memory Care, we strongly prefer an Executive Director who is a Registered Nurse (RN) with demonstrated leadership experience in senior living. The Executive Director partners closely with Regional and Corporate Leadership to drive organizational initiatives, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and position the community for long-term success.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all community departments, including Healthcare, Life Enrichment, Culinary Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Administration, and Marketing.
• Partner with Regional and Corporate Leadership on short- and long-term planning initiatives, including implementation of organizational and change management strategies.
• Recruit, hire, coach, mentor, develop, and evaluate department leaders and team members while promoting employee engagement and accountability.
• Foster an exceptional resident experience by ensuring prompt resolution of resident, family, and staff concerns while promoting resident satisfaction and retention.
• Provide regular on-site leadership, coaching, mentoring, and professional development to the Director team.
• Assess staffing levels based on occupancy and resident needs while maintaining budgetary goals and operational efficiency.
• Oversee departmental budgets, review monthly financial reports and spend-down reports, and ensure fiscal responsibility across all areas of the community.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to support occupancy growth, monitor sales performance, and achieve monthly census goals.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, disciplinary matters, and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including maintenance of resident records, employee files, licensing requirements, and physical plant standards.
• Lead regulatory surveys, investigations, complaint resolution, and corrective action initiatives while maintaining survey readiness.
• Monitor building operations and facilities to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Provide leadership during emergencies by participating in an on-call rotation or ensuring appropriate leadership coverage 24/7.
• Exercise sound judgment and final decision-making authority while collaborating with Regional Leadership and Corporate partners when appropriate.
• Support community operations by performing responsibilities of department leaders as needed to ensure continuity of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the community and organization.

Key Competencies We Are Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living operations.
• Proven leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold others accountable.
• Strong operational and financial management experience, including budgeting and fiscal oversight.
• Excellent knowledge of senior living operations, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to balance long-term planning and daily operational priorities.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to lead through change while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-through.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and resident-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living.
• Previous Executive Director, Administrator, Director of Nursing, or comparable senior leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation Package:

Base Wage: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
