The Executive Director of Community Health provides strategic leadership for community health, promotion, and disease prevention initiatives focused on improving health outcomes and access in North Carolina's rural and underserved communities.
Position within the Community Health and Rural Engagement team, overseeing program development, partnerships, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
Requires extensive healthcare systems experience, leadership skills, and ability to collaborate with academic, clinical, and community stakeholders. A PhD or terminal degree is preferred.
Responsibilities include managing community-based programs, fostering high-impact partnerships, supporting funding opportunities, leading program implementation, and evaluating outcomes.
Must demonstrate strong leadership, change management, results orientation, and cultural sensitivity, with a minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 7 years in management.
Position is hybrid, full-time, based in Morrisville, NC.
