Reports to the Board of Directors.
Additional responsibilities include the following:
Ensures ongoing programmatic excellence and evaluation
Manages staff and a number of professional volunteer committees associated with specific projects
Actively engages and energizes the philanthropic community, board members, volunteers and partnering organizations
Develops and manages annual budget
Develops and implements fundraising strategies
Informs and implements Board policies and direction
Develops, maintains and supports a strong board of directors, serves as ex-officio on the Board of Directors, seeks and builds board involvement to provide strategic direction for organizational operations
Manages large-scale advisory committee (and a number of project specific sub-committees)
Serves as the organization’s primary liaison
Develop and implement strategic vision
Qualifications:Management and business experience, including staff supervision, financial management and significant fund-raising experience
A track record of effective leadership in a performance-and outcomes-based organization with a commitment to high quality programs and data-driven evaluation
Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
Experience using organizational technology to advance agency objectives
Experience developing/maintaining relationships with local public, private, philanthropic and political groups
Experience managing a 501(c)(3) corporation strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
