n Works with the DAS, provides strategic direction and communication of strategy and priorities as well as the organization''s vision, mission and goals to subordinate staff. As appropriate, the Executive Director serves as Acting DAS Manufacturing in his/her absence.

nOversees formulation of resource requests and manages a process to continually align resources based on opportunities and needs.

nEnsures adherence to ITA and Industry and Analysis'' internal controls, including quality control standards for all work products coming out of Manufacturing.

nConducts outreach and builds coalitions with other agencies, colleagues, business and industry associations, and legislative affairs contacts.

nRoutinely participates in interagency meetings and ensures that I&A perspectives are represented in the development and implementation of trade and economic security policies.n
