ROLE AND PURPOSE:
The Director of Fine Arts provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight forthe district's arts ecosystem, serving as a high-level liaison between district and campus leadership to ensure equitable excellence for all students. By developing long-range master plans and district-wide policies, the Executive Director aligns all K-12 instructional initiatives, professional learning, and community interactions with the District's Strategic Plan and the Board of Trustees' goals. This role encompasses comprehensive operational management including the oversight of capital purchases, procurement, facility usage, and equipment life cycle planning. As the district's public-facing fine arts program representative, the Executive Director cultivates vital partnerships with the local community and corporate entities to integrate the fine arts into the broader vision of the district.
