The Facilities Director position is directly accountable to the Vice President, Business Operations & Finance for the following duties and responsibilities:
The Executive Director, Facilities provides professional direction and leadership for the planning, construction, maintenance, operations, and safety of the Colleges physical assets, grounds, and infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring facilities are safe, well maintained, compliant with all applicable codes and regulations, and conducive to a high-quality learning environment.
The Executive Director, Facilities is also responsible for:
• Managing and overseeing the facilities budget and ensuring it aligns with the Colleges overall financial goals. • Developing and implementing long-term facilities plans and strategies to meet the Colleges needs. • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of facilities into the Colleges overall operations. • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Providing leadership and guidance to the facilities team to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
