Job Summary

Eurest is seeking an engaged, passionate culinarian to join this busy NEW corporate dining account, boasting fully renovated kitchen, dining, and office spaces. As Executive Chef, you'll own the kitchen — from menu planning and food production to team development and operational excellence. You'll set the standard for quality, consistency, and hospitality while creating a safe, energetic, and inspiring environment for your culinary team.

  • Plan and execute regular and modified menus in alignment with established culinary guidelines
  • Uphold standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; utilize daily production worksheets and waste logs to drive efficiency and minimize waste
  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff in food preparation, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation
  • Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment, storage, and work areas
  • Manage food and non-food inventory, keeping purchasing within budget while ensuring product availability
  • Make informed decisions on leftover food utilization in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, including internal audits and third-party inspections
  • Champion a culture of safety by following and enforcing all facility and company safety policies
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings, staff development initiatives, and professional programs

What We're Looking For

  • A.S. in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–5 years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
  • Proven hands-on chef experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Background in institutional and batch cooking; catering experience a strong plus
  • Deep knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, food cost control, sanitation, and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and general computer navigation
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
