Seeking an experienced Executive Chef for a luxury cruise line to lead culinary operations on ships during the 2026 season.
Responsibilities include
- Leading meal prep and regionally inspired menus using local ingredients
- Managing and mentoring a galley team of 6-10 members
- Ensuring safety, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Overseeing inventory, portion control, and waste reduction
- Delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests
Qualifications include - 6+ years in full-service kitchens or hospitality settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and food safety knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and handle extended periods onboard
Schedule involves 7 days/week onboard for 6-8 weeks, with 1-2 weeks off. Compensation includes a competitive daily rate, health benefits, and travel expenses. Must pass background and drug tests, hold TWIC, and be able to perform physically demanding tasks in a ship environment.
