What is the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA)?
The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is a not-for-profit corporation that operates three Federally Funded Research & Development Centers (FFRDCs). Our organization provides objective analyses of national security issues, particularly those requiring scientific and technical expertise, and conducts related research on other national challenges.
Under minimal supervision, this position provides a full range of executive assistance and administrative support to the assigned Vice President, Corporate Operations. The position also supports Vice President, Center for Communications & Computing, General Counsel, and IT/Security/CIO Director. Duties range from managing daily schedule, preparing/drafting/editing presentations and correspondence, monitoring budgets, maintaining files, and making travel arrangements.

Compensation
We support transparency, equity, and fairness in our compensation program and provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range based on data-driven market analysis for each position. While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $68,147 - $109,036. Individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent's experience, unique skills and qualifications, and other relevant factors.
