About the Role:

We are looking for an Executive Assistant with 2-5 years of experience to serve as the CEO's right hand at a fast-growing, YC-backed marketplace startup. This is a high-trust, high-impact role with direct executive exposure and a clear path to grow into a Chief of Staff or Business Operations position as the company scales.

As the first and only EA at the company, you will have the unique opportunity to build and define the EA function from scratch while gaining unmatched exposure to how a high-growth tech company is built and scaled.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Executive Support: Own the CEO's calendar, inbox, travel, and expense management end-to-end.
  • Function Building: Define and build the EA function from the ground up as the foundation for future administrative growth.
  • Proactive Management: Anticipate needs and look around corners, proactively spotting operational gaps before they become problems.
  • Relationship Management: Build deep trust and rapport with the CEO and the broader leadership team to support the executive function.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate across all arms of the company, gaining direct exposure to executive-level startup operations.

Key Requirements
  • Startup DNA: Prior start-up software experience is strictly required. You must have 1-8 years of experience (ideally 2-5 years) in an EA, operations, or executive support role within a seed-to-Series B venture-backed tech startup.
  • Detail-Oriented & Fast-Paced: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills (the CEO notices everything) combined with a direct, fast communication style.
  • Thrive in Ambiguity: Ability to operate independently and match the pace of a busy tech startup CEO.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year university is required.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City and work on-site 5 days a week in the Flatiron office.
