Executive Assistant Opportunity
LaSalle Network has partnered with a premier, mission-driven organization in Barrington, IL to identify a dedicated and proactive Executive Assistant to join their team. What You Will Do
- Executive Support: Schedule calendar meetings for the Executive Director and assist both the Executive Director and Director of Operations with daily administrative duties.
- Board Relations: Manage communications, scheduling, and event coordination for the Board of Directors.
- Hospitality & Communication: Greet guests warmly, answer phones, and effectively communicate across diverse generations and demographics by phone, in writing, and in person.
- Database & Report Management: Update database records, enter detailed information, and generate/export comprehensive reports.
- Office & Project Management: Manage and organize multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously. Attend weekly team meetings to capture and distribute detailed minutes.
- Operations & Supply Chain: Purchase office supplies, maintain equipment, run occasional errands, and manage the on-site Resource Center by ordering books and prayer resources.
- Culture & Events: Bring the team together by planning periodic staff outings, parties, and internal meetings.
What You Need to Succeed
- Schedule: Ability to work fully in-person, Monday through Friday (~40 hours per week), with flexibility for a few evenings and occasional weekends to support meetings and special events.
- Experience & Education: Relevant professional office experience is required; a bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong eye for grammar, proofreading, and spotting typos.
- Technical Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
- Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of conversational or professional Spanish is a plus.
- Physical & Logistics Requirements: A valid driver's license for running occasional errands and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs of office supplies (books, paper, etc.).
- Demeanor: A service-oriented, can-do attitude, paired with the utmost discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
