Executive Assistant II

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Charlotte Region

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant II provides advanced administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of departmental and executive functions. This role may work independently or as part of a team to support leadership and maintain the smooth flow of daily business operations. The Executive Assistant II also serves as a key resource to staff, offering guidance and coordination across the department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including SVP and EVP levels
  • Coordinate and manage calendars, meetings, and departmental activities
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents
  • Support efficient workflow and daily department operations
  • Serve as a resource to staff for administrative processes and procedures
  • Maintain organized records, files, and databases
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, leadership, and hospital staff
  • Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives as needed

Job Relationships

  • Reports to and receives assignments from Senior Vice Presidents (SVP) and Executive Vice Presidents (EVP)
  • Collaborates with other leaders, hospital staff, and internal teams

Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of administrative support experience required
  • Healthcare administrative support experience preferred

Additional Skills (Required)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with physicians and hospital staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • Ability to create and manage correspondence, presentations, records, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
